CAMPBELL, Calif., January 21, 2005 - Sylantro Systems Corporation
today announced that STS Telecom, an established facilities-based telecom
service provider, has selected Sylantro’s suite of business and consumer
hosted broadband voice solutions and servers to power STS’ new EVOLUTION
Voice over IP (VoIP) service offerings. Launching in Q1 2005, STS
is addressing multiple market segments including consumer/residential,
SOHO (Small Office/ Home Office) and enterprise accounts, and will initially
target 30 major U.S. metropolitan areas.
The Sylantro applications feature server, running the recently released
3.1 version software, provides innovative features for business and consumer
users such as simultaneous ringing, distinctive ringing, find me/follow
me and browser-based control of personal and company-wide phone and overall
communications settings. The Sylantro solution also includes mobility features
that give mobile workers greater control over and flexibility in their
communications. STS is leveraging the Sylantro platform and suite of hosted
communications applications to offer an end-to-end telephony service through
its extensive authorized dealer/agent sales force.
