| The submailbox option provides one main mailbox and three submailboxes
(1, 2, and 3) for individual household members with your Voice Mail service.
Like the main mailbox, submailboxes have individual passwords and greetings.
They use the same voice mail access number and mailbox number. Any mailbox
owner with the feature can access his private submailbox by using the submailbox
password with the home mailbox number. If you included submailboxes in
your request, follow the instructions below. If you would like to add submailboxes
at no additional cost, call STS Telecom today! |
| Activating Submailboxes or
the first time: (refer to
Setting
up Your Mailbox) |
 |
You may create only the ones you need and add others later. You are
allowed up to 3 submailboxes, in addition to your Main Mailbox. With the
submailbox feature, you are allowed a total of 40 messages, including those
in the Main mailbox and all submailboxes. |
 |
When the submailbox is created, the system will announce the submailbox
number and temporary password. Write down these numbers and provide them
to the new submailbox owner. If the submailbox password is forgotten or
lost, you will have to delete the submailbox and create a new one. |
| How to listen to messages
in your submailbox: |
 |
Call your mailbox. (refer to - Calling
Your Mailbox) |
 |
Enter the submailbox passcode. |
| Telling callers how to reach
a submailbox: |

users. |
 |
For example: "You've reached the Harris family. To leave a message
for Carol or John, you may press pound
now. To leave a message for Cathy, press .
For Steven, press .
For Rachel, press ." |
 |
Callers will enter the submailbox number (1, 2, or 3) as you specify. |
